Closed parenthesis regional elections which sealed the victory again and the reconfirmation of the President Nichi Vendola as governor of Puglia, the analysis begins for many of the vote. For the Union center Casarano was a good result, having received some 750 list preferences, thus reaching the 3rd place as the largest party in Casarano supported, after the giants PDL and PD. The percentage is 7.8% of votes, in contrast to the result that sees the regional UDC, with 128,542 votes, to remain at 6.5% of preferences. Then there is the town of Lecce with 26,697 preferences, has a rate of 6.3%. Casarano is among the few countries in the province, certainly the most populous, where the UDC has grown more. We therefore affirm as a political force in net growth and the great future prospects. To whom we gave up for dead, who told us that the vote for the Union center was a useless vote, this is the answer. The answer is not the party, but citizens who have given us confidence votandoci. If we think in less than a year ago, when the symbol of the UDC was left to fend for himself from the old ruling class, only to be taken over just days before the elections, by the leadership and who stubbornly believed strongly wished that the Crusader shield symbol in Casarano not die, we can certainly speak of a miracle. The Union is now the center of the steering force in Casarano, with its representatives of prestige: The commissioner and the director Attilio Massimo De Marco Villa.
